Attempts are currently being made to locate the individuals responsible for the kidnapping and to rescue the victims in a secure manner
At the Federal University in Dutsinma, which is located in Katsina State, four students have been kidnapped by individuals who are suspected of being armed bandits.
Those responsible for the shootings kidnapped the victims from Paris Quarters, which is situated behind the university. In the early morning hours of Sunday, March 2, 2025, at approximately 2:20 a.m., the perpetrators of the attack, who were said to be in huge numbers, arrived at the location and abducted four people.
Five people have been recognized as victims: Wali Kayode, who is 25 years old; Fahad Muhammad, who is 20 years old; Emmanuel, whose surname is unknown; and another individual who has not yet been identified. Following the receipt of a distress call, security personnel were dispatched to the location; however, the bandits had already fled the area.
Zagazola Makama was informed by security sources that attempts are currently being made to locate the individuals responsible for the kidnapping and to rescue the victims in a secure manner.
