Dembele Aims High for UCL Trophy and Ballon d’Or

Paris Saint-Germain(PSG) star Ousmane Dembele is eager to win the Champions League trophy and the Ballon d’Or award. After a stellar season under coach Luis Enrique, Dembele has been named Ligue 1 Player of the Year, and a win against Inter Milan in the Champions League final would further boost his chances for the Ballon d’Or.

“This has been a dream of mine since I was a child,” Dembele said, expressing his excitement for the final. “I am very concentrated. This will be an unforgettable moment. I just hope tomorrow will be history in the making.”

Dembele emphasized the importance of staying calm and focused, acknowledging that Inter Milan is a formidable opponent. “Today will be a tense game. We know Paris will be vibrating with excitement,” he said. “When you are a PSG player, the important thing is to take home the trophy for the team. Obviously, this (the Ballon d’Or) is maybe in the back of my mind, but it’s not what I’m thinking about most.”

He added, “You need to keep a cool head. We are very excited, but, as has been mentioned, we need to be calm, cool, collected, and serious but smiling, because this is an incredible moment for us.” Dembele also praised Inter Milan, saying, “Inter Milan is a wonderful team that deserves their place in the final. They’ve been playing for four or five years now, this team. They know how to give this team a run for their money.”

The highly anticipated match between PSG and Inter Milan will take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, on May 31, with kickoff scheduled for 9:00 p.m. local time.
