In a parallel escalation, Israel launched airstrikes on the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, claiming the lives of at least 12 individuals. These strikes are part of a broader military campaign that has also seen Israel target Syrian troops in the city of Suwayda. In the occupied West Bank, tensions flared as settlers set fire to Palestinian land and vehicles in the village of Burqa. This incident occurred hours after a gathering of church leaders and diplomats from over 20 countries in the town of Taybeh, where they collectively called for an end to the violence.
