Netflix has officially dropped the highly anticipated first teaser for Stranger Things Season 5 today, July 16, 2025, sending fans into a frenzy as the streaming giant teases the beginning of the series’ final chapter. Accompanied by a brand-new poster, the teaser hints at a thrilling and emotional conclusion to the beloved sci-fi horror saga.

Titled “One Last Adventure,” the 50-second teaser opens with chilling shots of Hawkins, Indiana, shrouded in eerie darkness, followed by glimpses of Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will preparing for their greatest battle yet. The teaser closes with the haunting voice of Vecna, suggesting that the Upside Down’s hold over Hawkins is stronger than ever.

The new poster released alongside the teaser features the core group standing defiantly at the entrance of the Upside Down, with the tagline, “Every Ending Has a Beginning.”

Netflix confirmed that Stranger Things Season 5 will be released in two parts, with Part One arriving in October 2025, while the second and final installment will drop in early 2026.


Creators Matt and Ross Duffer have promised an explosive and emotional finale, calling it “the most ambitious season yet.” According to reports, Season 5 will revisit several unresolved mysteries, including the origins of the Upside Down, Eleven’s true connection to Vecna, and whether Hawkins can ever return to normal.

Fan theories are already circulating online, with some speculating that at least one major character may not survive the final battle. The main cast, including Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), and Sadie Sink (Max), all return for the final season. Newcomers, rumored to include a mysterious scientist played by Oscar-nominated actor Mahershala Ali, are expected to play pivotal roles in uncovering the Upside Down’s secrets.

Filming, which began in mid-2024 after a delay due to Hollywood strikes, is now in its final stages. The Duffer Brothers revealed that post-production will focus heavily on groundbreaking visual effects to make Season 5 “the biggest spectacle in Stranger Things history.”
